This is some OLD SKOOL stuff! I was taught this in the mid 90's but I'm sure it's been used way before then! It works GREAT for installing Oil Pan gaskets because it's super tacky/sticky and the gasket stays in place like you said! No leak issues! We called it Gorilla Snot!
The golden rule.... never follow some idiot in a dump truck.... there's a huge chance there will be shit falling out of the truck and potentially damage to your car can result..... I'd like to see someone actually get on it a run one of these cars a little bit.... oooooh 90 mph better back down..... you can tell this clown isn't the owner. .... if he is he's already sold it to someone else. ... or is just weakling with tiny balls....... take your pick..
How can you move the glass straight back about 1/4 inch? Its barely touching the weatherstrip.
It seems to me both videos, door and Quarter glass each assume the other is correctly adjusted, and you are adjusting one to the other. A sort of Chicken or the egg. Where do you start when both glasses are going in new?
Let me answer my own question. After several hours, and sleeping on it, I think the best approach to adjusting the glass and quarter glass in the same session is to adjust the door glass against the front edge seal, and across the top. The adjust the quarter glass against the door glass.

Great video. I'll be replacing the gaskets on my 350SB and never did like the rubber gaskets. The piece of mind here helped a lot.
25 ft lbs is typically too much torque for stamped steel valve covers.
I guess this brake setup never worked and the car must have crashed into a tree or something because we never heard anymore about this setup

Getting 400 hp with a bone stock 455 stage one with exhaust manifolds is impressive. There is another 455 stage one dyno you tube that gets 402 HP, but that one has headers.
